Music Making Fridays
Magic Minds, Inc. has partnered with the Beyond the Natural Foundation to bring an innovative extracurricular class to the summer program! BTNF is providing Songwriting and Music Production Classes using a virtual platform designed to teach beatmaking, lyric writing, audio engineering, and even podcasting. Campers will be able to write and record their own songs. Campers only need to have their own device i.e. tablet or computer with internet access.

50 spaces
This is a pilot program. Our spaces are very limited. All students must be registered for this program, including those previously registered for the original summer camp. The registration fee is $25. All fees paid towards the original summer camp can be used as credits toward this virtual learning experience. Spaces will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.
**NO PARENT PARTICIPATION REQUIRED DURING OR AFTER LESSONS**
Classes will meet Monday through Thursday for 2 hours per class. Students will have 2 short, scheduled breaks during each class.
9:00am - 11:00am READING INSTRUCTION
12:00pm - 2:00pm MATH INSTRUCTION
Students can attend reading class only, math class only, or both.
WHEN?
Students will log in Monday through Thursday for each class. Reading classes will occur from 9:00am to 11:00am. Math classes will occur from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Students can participate in reading only, math only or both classes.

WHY?
Students across the nation left school on March 13, 2020, not knowing that they would not return to the classroom for the remainders of the 2019/2020 school year. Our approach to learning was drastically altered. Students and teachers were unable to maintain academic instruction. Many, many, many academic skills were lost. Others were never learned. We are providing a solution, by having certified teachers to render this instruction over the summer.
All The Same Benefits
Students complete a pre-assessment and a post assessment.
Teachers provide intense daily instruction and engaging academic activities, while maintaining summer fun.
Parents receive a progress report at the end of camp

WHERE?
Students will log in from home using their personal electronic devices. Laptops are preferred but tablets and iPads welcome.
WHAT?
We will offer intense small group instruction, engaging academic activities, tests and progress reports for all students enrolled.
