Dear Summer Camp Parents and Employees,

It is with a heavy heart that we write to inform you that we have made the difficult decision not to host Summer Session 2024. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the impact it may have on your family's plans for the upcoming summer.

Over the past few months, we have been assessing our financial situation and determining the feasibility of running camp this year. Unfortunately, after careful consideration, we have determined that hosting camp this summer is not financially viable. We know that this may come as a disappointment to you and your children, and we want to assure you that we share in your disappointment.

We would like to thank you for your continued support over the years and for trusting us with your children's summer experiences. We have truly enjoyed getting to know your families and creating lasting memories together. We hope that you will continue to cherish these memories and the friendships made at camp.

Please know that this is not goodbye forever. We are committed to working towards a better financial situation and hope to bring back Summer Session in 2025. Additionally, we plan to run before school and after school care, as planned, for the upcoming school year. In the meantime, there are ways you can help our organization stay afloat financially and secure our chances for next year:

Participate in our fundraisers throughout the year.
Contact your local officials, such as the mayor and other city officials, to voice your support for our organization.
As always, please note that we give a $200 reward to anyone who recommends (and helps secure) us to new schools in the area for both aftercare and summer camp services.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Together, we can work towards a brighter future for our summer camp community.
